Recycling @ Work is an initiative created by Keep America Beautiful to promote proper recycling habits in the workplace. Keep Pensacola Beautiful expanded on this program with a series of options for local businesses to make the step towards a greener working environment.
The Problem
An office is typically where we spend much of our time, and consequently produce large amounts of waste. Being eco-conscience in the workplace can be especially challenging as profits tend to drive decision making, instead of sustainable goals.
The Solution
Keep Pensacola Beautiful has 5 free programs that your office can easily implement. Join the businesses all over our community that have already taken steps to make their office a greener place to work.

Ink Cartridge Recycling
Keep Pensacola Beautiful partners with local businesses to collect used ink and toner cartridges once a month, which are then recycled through certified organizations. Simply fill out the form to the left to join this free program!
Electronic Waste Recycling
Through our partnership with YourTEK Professionals, we also recycle electronics. You can drop of your old or broken computers, monitors, battery’s, cellphones, cd players, and more at our office during business hours. If you are unsure of if we can take an item, you can give us a call at 850-438-1178 and we will provide you with resources on how to properly dispose of it!
This does more good than is often realized. Not only are you responsibly getting rid of these electronics, but you are also helping out those in need. The items given to us will either be refurbished and donated in shelters, non-profits and schools or broken down for parts and recycled!
30 On The 30th
We encourage businesses to take a 30-minute break on the 30th of the month (or the closest business day) to clean their outdoor office spaces. This can entail removing litter from the parking lot, visiting a nearby roadway or heading to a particularly littered spot you’ve had your eye on. Every little bit helps. Improve employee moral and build your business’s reputation with 30 on the 30th today! If you participate, please tag us on social media so that we can highlight your commitment!
Recycling Presentations
Keep Pensacola Beautiful offers a presentation on recycling in our local communities and globally. One of our staff members will come right to your organization with our own supplies. You will learn the ins and outs and the pros and cons of the famous 3 R’s, as well as the past and future of the recycling industry through this 45-minute seminar. We promise that you will not walk about from it without having learned something new! Fill out the form to the right to express interest and we will reach out to schedule something with your office.
